Town to hold 9/11 ceremony and memorial dedication

By

The town of Canton’s 9/11 Memorial Committee will hold a remembrance ceremony and dedication at 8:45 a.m. at Veterans Memorial Park, located at Canton Corner Cemetery, on Sunday, September 11.

In addition to honoring all those who died in New York, Washington, D.C., and in Pennsylvania, a memorial will be dedicated to Michael Uliano, 42, who perished in the North Tower during the terrorist attacks. Uliano, who worked for Cantor Fitzgerald in New York, grew up in Canton and was a 1978 graduate of Canton High School.

See next week’s edition of the Citizen for more information on the remembrance ceremony and a look back at the life of Michael Uliano.
