Local residents to perform at Mashpee Pops night

By

The Brockton Symphony Orchestra is proud to announce that it has been selected as the featured orchestra at the 2011 Mashpee Night at the Pops. BrSO will be joined by the 60 voices of Brockton’s Jubilate Chorale.

Canton’s Dr. Irene Kelley, Wayne King, Susan Caplan, Patricia Chane, Jonathan So and Luke Sutherland will be performing with the orchestra.

This year’s concert, “A Night to Remember,” will be held at Mashpee Commons on Saturday, July 30, from 7 to 9:30 p.m. This outdoor pops concert presents rousing performances of Americana, Broadway and flag-waving patriotic music. It will feature the Brockton Symphony, the Jubilate Chorale, a flyover by the Coast Guard, Will & Anthony Nunziata, the bagpiper corps Colum Cille Pipes and Drums, the 1812 Overture with cannons, and an extravagant fireworks display.
