O’Brien, Catherine T.

Catherine T. (Adams) O’Brien, 88, a lifelong resident of Canton, died June 6, 2011, after a long illness.

Devoted wife of the late Richard C. O’Brien. Loving mother of Richard T. O’Brien of Westwood, Kathleen Pendergast and her husband, Brian, of Canton, and Elizabeth Marconi and her fiancée, Thomas Stevens, of Bourne. Proud grandmother of Jillian, Cynthia and Lydia O’Brien; Brian, David and Dan Pendergast; and Christopher and Erin Marconi. Sister of James Adams of FL, Joseph Adams of CT, and the late John Adams, May O’Brien, William Adams, Esther Steele, Martha Krueger and Richard Adams.

Visiting hours from the Roache-Pushard Family Funeral Home, 210 Sherman Street, on Thursday, June 9, from 4-8 p.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in St. John the Evangelist Church in Canton on Friday, June 10, at 10:30 a.m. Interment Bourne National Cemetery 1:30 p.m.
