The Joshua Tree rocks the Irish Cultural Centre

By

The Joshua Tree, a Boston-based U2 tribute band, stopped by the Irish Cultural Centre Saturday night for a gig to close out the ICC’s 17 Days of March celebration. The Joshua Tree played for two-plus hours with a set that consisted of some new U2 rockers, some older rarities and many U2 classics. Louise O’Shea, ICC director of membership and programming was pleased with the event. “The sold out event went very well,” O’Shea said. “We were thrilled with the performance and that it brought many new faces to the Irish Cultural Centre. We would love to have them back this summer for an outdoor show.”
