Jerilynn “Jeri” Margaret (Tordoff) Flagg, 69, of Canton, died Monday morning, February 21, 2011, in her home after a brief illness. Born in Norwood, she was raised and educated in Canton, where she resided most of her life. She was the daughter of the late Arthur E. and Margaret R. (Keith) Tordoff. Mrs. Flagg loved spending time at her camp in Dexter, Maine.

A registered nurse, she had worked in various local healthcare facilities, including Wrentham State Hospital and Norwood Hospital. She graduated from Lynn Hospital’s School of Nursing and Lasalle College in Newton.

A member of the United Church of Christ in Canton, she had been a Rainbow Girl. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, gardening, cooking, fishing, and being outdoors. She was known for “telling it like it is” and always doing her best to make others happy.

She is survived by her daughter, Margaret J. Falbo of Canton; her sons, Edward Flagg of Canton and David Flagg of Easton; her brother, Arthur Tordoff of Canton; her sister, Jennifer Tordoff of ME; her granddaughters, Ashley and Kristen Falbo and Alexandra and Erin Flagg; and her great grandson, Michael. She is also survived by her two nieces and two nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend memorial funeral services in celebration of Jeri’s life at the United Church of Christ, 1541 Washington Street, Canton, on Monday at 10 a.m. Private interment was held at Canton Corner Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be made in her memory to the Old Colony Hospice, 1 Credit Union Way, Randolph, MA 02368. The Roache-Pushard Family Funeral Home assisted the Flagg family with arrangements.
