Carlo A. DiStasio, 86, of Middleboro, formerly of Canton, passed away February 15 at the Life Care Center in Raynham. Born in Boston, he was raised in Hyde Park and graduated from Hyde Park High School and was a Navy veteran of WWII. He worked as the custodian at the Canton Public Library for many years before retiring. He previously had worked as an electronics technician for LFE Corp in Waltham.

Beloved husband of Alice G. (Richardson). Father of Gail M. Kerzner and her husband, Neal, of Canton; Emily A. Ferreira and her husband, David, of Bridgewater; Carlo A. II and his partner, Jeanne Giampapa, of Bridgewater. Brother of Eleanor Hamilton of FL, Richard DiStasio of Randolph, Paul DiStasio of Roslindale, and Robert DiStasio of CA. Also survived by six grandchildren.

A funeral service was held Saturday morning, February 19, at the Dockray and Thomas Funeral Home. Interment Knollwood Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the Canton Veterans Service Department, 801 Washington St., Canton, MA 02021. Arrangements by the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home, 455 Washington Street.
