Thanks to town leaders for clear roads, few outages

By

Dear Editor:

I don’t know why I’m so thankful to our selectmen and the DPW for having no power outages and great clear roads (even though I live on a cul-de-sac), but I am.

When I see the wealthier communities on the south shore going without power, yet here in little ol’ Canton we’re doing just fine, I think, “Are we lucky or do we have a town government that is alert to scams from utility companies that only BUY power and do not maintain the infrastructure … power lines, poles, etc?”

Whatever the truth is, I find it more than just good luck that we seem to get through these storms with relatively little problems here in Canton. Thanks, then, to whomever is responsible. Cheers!
