Lowden, Robert P.

Robert P. Lowden, 87, of Canton, passed away August 25.

Born in Norwood, he was raised in Sharon and graduated from Sharon High School and Wentworth Institute of Technology. He worked as a RND machinist for Johnson & Johnson and EPSCO before retiring. He has lived in Canton since 1959 and was an avid sports fan and enjoyed playing hockey with a 35 year and older team.

Beloved husband for 66 years to Joan L. (Brown). Father of Robert P. Lowden, Jr. and Susan Marcelino and her husband, Steven. Brother of June Goyette and her husband, Joseph, and the late John Lowden, Dorothy Mixer, Zaida Sumner and Mary Conlon. Grandfather of Richard Allberry and his wife, Sabrina, Shannon Allberry, Karissa Allberry, and Elizabeth Lowden. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
