Robert J. Antonucci, 80, of Canton, died peacefully February 28, 2018 after a brief illness.

Bob was a retired DPW worker for the town of Canton, working for the water department for over 38 years. He was a devoted parishioner of St. James Church in Stoughton for many years, a former driver for the Canton Senior Center, a member of the Norwood Retired Men’s Club, a member of the Knights of Columbus Council #2095, and was an avid golfer who also enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Devoted husband for 53 years of Bernice “Bunny” Antonucci of Canton. Loving father of Lisa Hinkle and her husband, Bob, of Tewksbury, Thomas Antonucci of Azusa, CA, and Robert J. Antonucci Jr. and his wife, Suzanne Stimler, of Takoma Park, MD. Proud grandfather of Robert Anthony Antonucci, Michael Antonucci, Michelle Hinkle, Erica Hinkle, Curtis Antonucci and Cecelia Antonucci.

A mass of Christian burial was celebrated Monday in St. James Church in Stoughton. Interment St. Mary’s Cemetery, Canton. Donations may be made in Bob’s memory to the Canton Senior Center, 500 Pleasant St., Canton, MA 02021. Arrangements by the Pushard Family Funeral Home, 210 Sherman Street, www.roache-pushard.com.
