Robert Paul Feeley, 47, of Hanson, passed away unexpectedly on February 24, 2018, after a brief illness.

Rob was born in Boston on August 17, 1970, and was raised in Canton. He graduated from Canton High School in 1988. He earned an associate’s degree from Dean College and a bachelor’s degree from Curry College.

Rob worked for the Bechtel Corporation for many years on the Big Dig project. Following his love for the ocean and boating, he obtained his captain’s license, which allowed him to work part-time at Entertainment Cruises while being a stay-at-home father to his two beautiful children.

Rob is preceded in death by his parents, G. Russell and Joyce (Connors) Feeley. He is survived by his loving wife, Lisa (Buckley) Feeley, and two children, Tessa Joyce, 9, and Nathan Buckley, 8. He is also survived by a brother, Michael, many nieces, nephews and other close relatives.

Rob’s biggest passion was boating and he took every opportunity to spend time with friends on the ocean.

Visiting hours in the Sullivan Funeral Home, 2 Maquan Street (corner of routes 14 and 58) in Hanson, on Thursday, March 1, from 4-7 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated in St. Joseph the Worker Church, 1 Maquan Street, Hanson, on Friday at 11 a.m. Burial in Fern Hill Cemetery at a later date.
