Celebrate the holidays with family and friends! This year, visit the Eleanor Cabot Bradley Estate for things to do in the holiday spirit! Below is a list of what we have planned at the Bradley Estate. For more information, visit www.thetrustees.org/thingstodo and enter “Eleanor Cabot Bradley Estate” and event date, or search on the specific event itself.

Ye Old Bradley Estate Shoppe: December 7-9 from 1-3 p.m. Ornaments, decorative boughs and wreaths made by staff and volunteers will be available for purchase. There will be free holiday hot drinks to warm you up for the holidays and music and raffles for fun stocking stuffers!

Holly Daze Tree Lighting: December 6-8 and December 13-15. To help Rudolph and his friends find their way from house to house, trees should be lit brightly against the dark night sky. The Bradley Estate will light up the sky around the Main House for Rudolph and those who like to celebrate around the holidays to marvel at! We will have a nightly laser show and music throughout the two weeks of celebration. Olaf and other Frozen characters will make an appearance. House tours will be offered from 6-7 p.m. — see the house decorated for the season in elegant snow and ice! Trees lit and roasting marshmallows from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Admission is $5 for Trustees members, $10 for non-members, and free for children.

Holly Daze Open House, Music and Crafts: December 9-10 and December 16-17. Saturday and Sundays feature the Bradley Estate Holly Daze open houses with family-oriented holiday music and games, hot drinks and festive sweet treats! There will be live performances by the Easton Bell Choir (Dec. 9), Sharon Music Academy (Dec. 10) and solo harpist Lois Francello (Dec. 16), as well as an ice sculpture demonstration (Dec. 16) and a 1960s era holiday family dance for all ages (Dec. 17). Admission is $5 for Trustees members, $10 for non-members, and free for children. For details and a complete schedule of events, go to www.thetrustees.org/things-to-do/special-events/holly-daze.html.

Garden De-Light Evening Strolls & Hot Cocoa: December 27-30 from 5 to 8:30 p.m. Although the holidays are coming to an end, the season is still upon us! Let’s jingle, have some Kris Kringle, and feel the magic of the night lit by hundreds of lights along the garden paths at the Bradley Estate. See the snowflakes and reindeer lit brightly, and feel the chill on your cheeks while sipping on a cup of hot cocoa! Then warm up indoors with a game of giant chess or watch contenders in the especially slinky race down the main staircase! The cost is $5 for Trustees members, $10 for non-members, and free for children.
