Brandsma, Albert

Albert Brandsma of Canton, 87, formerly of Natick, passed away at his home on November 29.

Born and raised in Hoorn, Netherlands, Albert served in the Dutch Merchant Marines, which brought him to Canada in 1952. He worked as a chef for the railroad before moving to the United States in 1958. He also worked for Holland America Lines before going to work at the Wayside Inn in Sudbury as a chef for many years. After leaving the Wayside Inn he went to work for Papa Gino’s corporate office in Needham as manager of office services …
