Sherri A. Bainton, 50, passed away October 3 at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston.

Born in Milton, she was a lifelong resident of Canton. Sherri graduated from Canton High School, Class of 1985, and went on to earn a nursing certificate from Eastern Nazarene College. She previously worked at the family restaurant, The Hingham Bay Club, and at the Dean S. Luce School in Canton. She enjoyed cooking and was a devoted mother to her two sons and was active in Canton youth sports …
