An open letter to Robert Kraft and the NFL

By

I went to my first football game at Schaffer Stadium. There has been season tickets in my family for two generations. I choose to spend my hard-earned money on the NFL’s product. My family and I choose to spend our Sundays together in Foxborough. I want to purchase your product to be entertained.

If I wanted to see a protest on Sundays, I would go to a rally. If I wanted to be preached to on Sundays, I would go to church. If I wanted a history lesson on Sundays, I would be reading books.

No one is questioning a player’s right to the First Amendment. I am enjoying the free speech that our Constitution gives to the American people. I just want to spend my money to be entertained by a product I have enjoyed for over 40 years.

Thank you for your attention to this matter.
