Fitzgerald, James F.

James F. Fitzgerald, 84, of Sharon, passed away peacefully May 21 at the South East Rehabilitation Center in Easton surrounded by his loving family.

Born and raised in Watertown, he attended LaSalette Seminary High School and Boston College. Jim served in the Army during the Korean War and worked as an insurance salesman for Sentry Insurance in Braintree for 39 years. He lived in Sharon since 1961 where he was an active member of Our Lady of Sorrows Parish.

Jim was a devoted and loving man, and his family was his proudest accomplishment. His children and grandchildren adored him and have many cherished memories of their beloved dad and Grampa Jim. They will always treasure how special he made each of them feel. Jim enjoyed traveling the world with his wife, spending time with his children and grandchildren, and was a passionate fan of all Boston sports teams …
