Mary R. Whitley (MacNeil), 96, formerly of Canton, of Hingham, passed away peacefully April 30 surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Boston, she was raised in South Boston and attended the Gate of Heaven School. She has lived in Hingham for the last two years and previously lived in Canton for over 20 years. She enjoyed sewing and baking and was a talented artist who enjoyed oil painting …
