Philopoulos, James N.

James N. Philopoulos of Canton passed away peacefully on March 17, 2017, after a brief illness.

Jimmy, as he was known to all, attended Thayer Academy and Berwick Academy. He went on to graduate from the University of Denver Hotel and Restaurant Management School. Jimmy was a U.S. Army veteran in the early 70s, after which he was in the Colorado National Guard followed by the Massachusetts National Guard. He was an active owner with his immediate family in their business, the Nicholas Restaurant of Norwood. In later years he constantly gave back to his alma mater, the University of Denver …
