Show DCR your support for a Canton rink

Dear Editor:

Last Thursday, I attended the South Shore Ice Rink Feasibility Study meeting in Norwood. It is clear that Norwood is just as committed to building an ice rink as Canton is to rebuilding Ponky. We must demonstrate to the Department of Conservation and Recreation our dedication to the sport and the urgent need for an ice rink in Canton. How can we do this? All parents must provide public comment on the DCR website. Taking it a step further, parents can help their kids fill out the form online as well. I urge all citizens to head to the Public Outreach section of the DCR website and encourage the commonwealth to keep the ice rink in Canton.
