Letters reveal hypocrisy of Trump critics

By

Dear Editor:

While reading the responses in last week’s edition I couldn’t help but notice the use of the word ‘disgust’ in describing the character and policies of our new president.

To be honest, I didn’t vote for President Trump (voted for Pat Tillman), but I couldn’t help wondering if the authors of these letters shared the same disgust with President Clinton while he was not only talking, but acting incredibly inappropriate with a 21-year-old intern. I’m guessing their disgust was much more tempered, as was their disdain for the first lady, who could be accused of enabling his actions.

The hypocrisy of these voters combined with the polarizing policies over the last eight years brought our country President Trump. I think a lot of the people who say “not my president” and like to remind us that their candidate won the popular vote should save their disgust for themselves.
