Born in New Haven, CT, she graduated from Lesley University in Cambridge before returning to Connecticut to embark on a rich and fulfilling teaching career. She and her husband relocated to Massachusetts in 1972, raising four children in Canton and serving as a strong advocate for both the Canton school system and Temple Beth Abraham.
