Local PMC riders celebrate $47M gift to Dana-Farber

On Sunday, November 6, local Pan-Mass Challenge riders joined the PMC at Legal Harborside in Boston to celebrate the organization’s $47 million gift to support adult and pediatric patient care and cancer research at the world-renowned Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
Pictured above are Canton residents Lenny and Tobie Shapiro (on left) along with fellow riders Greg White, Steven Stella, and Laura and Roy Gessman. The Shapiros rode on behalf of their daughter, Amie Beth, who passed away in February 2016 at age 46 following an 11-year battle with ovarian cancer.
