Casale, Ruth M.
By Canton CitizenRuth M. Casale (Lawless) of Canton passed away June 23 at Carney Hospital in Dorchester surrounded by her loving family.
Born and raised in Boston, she has lived in Canton since 1972 and was a devoted homemaker, wife and mother.
Beloved wife of the late Walter J. Loving mother of Claire M. Joyce and her husband, Michael, of Canton; Deborah A. Costa and her husband, Edward, of Bridgewater; Walter J. Casale Jr. and his wife, Judy, of Rockland; Stephen and Michael Casale and Ruthann O’Brien and her husband, Neil, all of Canton; and James A. Casale and his wife, Christine, of Wakefield. Daughter of the late Margaret and John Lawless. Sister of the late John Lawless, Louise Spring, Edna, Claire, Robert and Paul Lawless. Also survived by 17 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her daughter-in-law Jane Casale.
A funeral mass was held Tuesday in St. Gerard Majella Church in Canton. Interment Canton Corner Cemetery.
