Hollis Owens Jr., 42, of Canton, will be charged with several offenses, including trafficking a Class B substance (cocaine); possession with intent to distribute morphine, a Class A substance; possession of ammunition (124 rounds); possession of a stun gun; possession of a large capacity weapon; and possession of a loaded firearm.

Prior to the execution of the warrant, Owens was arrested in Framingham by Framingham police where he is facing additional charges.

Within the Arboretum Way residence, authorities found 18 grams of crack cocaine, $1,860 in cash, and a 9mm Smith & Wesson gun. Owens was held in custody until his arraignment this week.

The arrest came after a joint investigation that lasted several months. “This was a collaborative effort by Canton and Framingham police and federal authorities,” said Canton Police Chief Ken Berkowitz. “We took a mid-level supplier off the streets. It was a good, solid collaborative effort by all agencies.”
