Bainton, Kris H.

Kris H. Bainton, 81, of Canton, passed away April 10 at the Hellenic Nursing Home in Canton.

Born in Boston, he was raised in Canton, graduated from Canton High School, and was a veteran of the United States Army. Kris was inducted into the Canton High School Hall of Fame as a member of the undefeated 1949 football team. He was a member of the Canton Fire Department for many years, retiring in 1987. After retirement Kris enjoyed working at his brother’s campground, Sun River Camp Ground, in New Hampshire every summer …
