Robert John Kemp, 84, of Canton, loving husband of the late Dolores (Garrity) Kemp, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 25, in Milton with all four of his children at his side.

Born in Gloversville, NY, the son of the late Arthur and Elizabeth (Warfel) Kemp, he grew up in Woodbridge, CT, but lived most of his life in Vernon, CT, before he moved to Canton six years ago. He was a graduate of Hopkins Grammar School in New Haven, Class of 1949. He attended Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute before he proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. After his service, he continued his education at Cornell University. Prior to his retirement in 1994, Robert was employed as a quality control engineer at Pratt & Whitney Aircraft in East Hartford for 32 years …
