Danahy, Eleanor T.

Eleanor T. Danahy (McDermott), 89, formerly of Canton and Westwood, passed away November 19 at the Ellis Nursing Home in Norwood.

Born and raised in Canton, she graduated from Canton High School. She and her husband were the owner and operators of the Danahy Pharmacy for many years. After her husband passed away in 1968, Eleanor continued to run the business until 1978. After retiring, she went on to work as a legal secretary for General Builders Supply in Norwood.
