By Canton CitizenS. George Belezos, 95, of Canton, passed away November 21 at the Hellenic Nursing Home in Canton.
Born and raised in Boston, he graduated from Mechanic Arts High School and Northeastern University, was an Army veteran of World War II, and has lived in Canton since 1958. He worked for 29 years for Boston Gear Co., where he ultimately became the chief engineer and head of research and development. He went on to start his own company, Bendon Gear in Rockland, which he ran for many years and remains a family business today …
