Friends of the library to host annual fall book sale

Are you a book lover? The Friends of the Canton Public Library will once again host their popular fall book sale on Friday, October 2, from 5:30 to 8 p.m. and Saturday, October 3, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The Friday sale is a special preview for Friends members, and memberships may be purchased that evening. The Saturday book sale is open to all. The sale features used, recent books for children as well as books for adults. All proceeds from the sale directly benefit the Canton Public Library.

The Friends of the Canton Public Library provide important support for programming, services, and equipment not available through the library’s municipal budget.

The Friends of the Library offer memberships to individuals at $10 per year, to families at $15 per year, and to seniors for $5 per year. Corporate membership is just $50 per year. The membership year runs annually from the anniversary of sign-up, and donors are reminded that contributions to the Friends are tax-deductible.
