Water sports at the Rez

For the 13th consecutive summer, kids with autism learned canoeing and other water sports, including wind surfing, kayaking and stand-up paddling, at a watersports camp held at Reservoir Pond in Canton. The program, offered through the Massachusetts Hospital School and sponsored by AccessSport America and the Doug Flutie Jr. Foundation for Autism, served 50 youth ages 5-22 from June through August using adapted equipment to accommodate their physical needs.

Founded by former NFL quarterback and Boston College star Doug Flutie and his wife, Laurie, the Doug Flutie Jr. Foundation for Autism helps families affected by autism live life to the fullest. Through programs and partnerships, DFF helps people with autism get access to care, lead more active lifestyles, and grow toward adult independence.
