By Canton CitizenMary A. Byrne (McLean), 96, of Canton, died peacefully on Thursday, June 18.
Mary was a retired secretary who worked for St. John’s Episcopal Church in Roxbury and for the Prudential Insurance Company.
Devoted wife of the late William A. Byrne. Loving mother of Carolyn Eckhardt and her late husband, Carl, of Plainville, Nancy Morrison and her husband, Fred, of Westwood, Susan Barrett of Holbrook, and the late David Byrne and his wife, Marilee, of Westwood. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
A mass was celebrated Monday, June 22, in Trinity Episcopal Church in Canton. Interment Canton Corner Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mary’s memory to Trinity Episcopal Church, 1 Blue Hill River Rd., Canton, MA 02021.
