Feeney, Catherine L.

Catherine Loretta Feeney, 89, of Stoughton, formerly of Hingham and Canton, died on Sunday, May 24, 2015, at South Shore Hospital after a long illness.

Mrs. Feeney was a retired employee of the General Electric Corporation in Boston, and in later years assisted at the Canton Club daycare program in Canton. For many years she served as a volunteer ombudsman for South Shore Elder Services in Braintree, helping to improve the quality of care that seniors received in hospitals and long-term care facilities …
