Donald “Ducky” O’Shea of Canton died on January 8, 2015, in his winter home of Sebastian, FL.

Donald grew up in Dorchester before joining the Navy at 17 and serving in the South Pacific during World War II. Upon his return, he met and married his beloved wife, Helen Frances Ennis, and together they moved to Canton to raise their seven children. During this time, Donald embarked on a remarkable career at the Boston Edison Company, starting as a cable splicer and over time developing an Employee Assistance department. Donald’s involvement in the latter proved beneficial as countless Edison employees accessed substance abuse help through this department …
