NVCC to hold ‘Healthy Business Basics’ Lunch & Learn

The Neponset Valley Chamber of Commerce’s Health and Wellness Alliance, in conjunction with its Human Resources Leadership Council, will host a Lunch and Learn event on Thursday, March 12, at the Bank of Canton headquarters to focus on work/life balance and your bottom line.

All local business owners, managers, and human resources leaders are encouraged to attend this informative and dynamic event. Guest speakers will include Debra Wein, the nationally recognized expert on health and wellness and president and co-founder of Wellness Workdays. Wein will speak on work/life balance and will be joined by Colleen Reardon, human resources manager at the Bank of Canton, who will focus on corporate wellness in action at the bank. Those in attendance will be given the opportunity to ask the guest speakers specific questions to find out how they can implement these practices within their own businesses.

Sponsored by Murphy, Hesse, Toomey & Lehane, LLP, this event will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Bank of Canton, located at 490 Turnpike Street in Canton. Those in attendance may also visit the vendor tables set up by members of the NVCC Health and Wellness Alliance throughout the duration of the program.

This is an open event and all are welcome to attend. Tickets are $20 for members of the chamber and $25 for non-members and will include a healthy lunch from Off the Vine Catering in Norwood, resources from each of the participating vendors, and a ticket to be entered into a health and wellness related raffle.

Tickets may be purchased online by visiting www.nvcc.com/events.
