A note of thanks for Christmas surprise

Dear Editor:

On Monday afternoon I opened my mailbox and found a multi-colored candy cane with a hand-printed note taped to it. It was first hand-printed on paper and then cut out to form the words “nice lights,” referring of course to my Christmas lights. It was a very nice and heartwarming surprise. It made my day and Christmas season. Merry Christmas to you and your family. You are special.
