A historic view of Canton (1894) preserved as part of the Glass Plate Negative Project at the Canton Historical Society
The Canton Historical Society will hold a brief lecture followed by a workshop on the care and preservation of glass plate negatives at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, October 19, in the Community Room of the Canton Public Library. The program will be run by Fred Mirliani of the Photographic Preservation Society. Volunteers are needed to assist in the cleaning and storing of a portion of the historic glass plate collection.
