Temple Beth Abraham to host wine tasting fundraiser

By

Temple Beth Abraham in Canton is proudly sponsoring a fundraising and community event on the evening of Saturday, May 10, from 7:30 to 11 p.m. Guests will enjoy a sampling of wines from around the world, hand-picked by local connoisseurs from Canton Village Wine & Spirits and locally owned liquor distributor MS Walker.

Upon entering the wine tasting, guests will be invited to learn about and taste the various wines, travel with their taste buds as they enjoy delectable accompaniments, and enjoy a delicious light dinner with food stations stretching from the Mediterranean to the Gulf of Mexico.

Through the generosity of local businesses and families, there will be dozens of items up for bid during the silent auction portion of the evening from 9 to 10:30 p.m. Items include Red Sox and Patriots tickets, gym memberships, jewelry, a signed baseball, cases of wine, restaurant gift certificates, rounds of golf at Blue Hill Country Club, and more.

Tickets to the wine tasting are $54 each and include two complimentary drinks, dinner, wine tasting, and an opportunity to bid on dozens of auction items. This evening was made possible by the generosity of Don Rodman, Harvey and Selma Sandberg, Benjamin and Ruth Diamond, Anita Baker, Mel Brockman, Ted and Sandra Liftman, Gerald and Judy Feldman, and Susan Slavett.

To purchase tickets, call the temple office at 781-828-5250 or email theoffice@templebethabraham.org. There is also a PayPal link available at www.templebethabraham.org.
