Orange and gold balloons, cornucopias and bags of food for the hungry adorned the ballroom of the Plymouth Radisson Hotel as 250 Jack Conway Realtors gathered there for the annual Conway Country Thanksgiving Breakfast.

The highlight of the event was the presentation of 38 Jack Conway “Spirit Awards” to agents in offices from Swampscott to Cape Cod who were chosen by their colleagues for the honor.

“Today’s awards recognize our associates for their intangible qualities of kindness, camaraderie and good nature,” said Conway Director of Agent Services Chris Haraden, who announced the winners. “Whether or not these agents are top sellers or listers, they are tops among their peers for the good humor they spread all year long.”

Kathy Fox Alfano was the local winner of the Conway Spirit Award. She was chosen for her numerous outreach efforts to the community, including a recent charitable project she is spearheading for her team.

Fox Alfano created a Conway Kids Closet at the Canton office, which now serves as a drop-off site for donations of children’s clothing for needy families in the town. After receiving her Spirit Award, which included a check to purchase a Thanksgiving turkey, Fox Alfano used the money instead to buy more clothes for the Kids Closet.

“We’re just getting this new venture off the ground,” she said. “And I’m happy to contribute my prize to the cause.”
