Orange Leaf celebrates grand opening in Canton

By

Orange Leaf Frozen Yogurt will celebrate the grand opening of its 200th store — located at the Village Shoppes in Canton — with an official ribbon cutting ceremony today at 11 a.m.

To celebrate this milestone, Orange Leaf is also giving away free eight-ounce cups of froyo to all customers at the Canton location between 5 and 10 p.m., and the first 200 people in the door will receive a goody bag to take home.

“We’re thrilled to celebrate our grand opening in the wonderful town of Canton,” said Gerry Pellisier, owner of the Orange Leaf Canton location. “As a child, I always loved visiting my grandparents in Canton who used to take me to Cobb’s Corner for treats. Now I’m excited to open my first Orange Leaf store here and build new, sweet memories for my family and the families of Canton.”

During the grand opening in Canton, Orange Leaf encourages monetary donations to Boston Children’s Hospital in accordance with a fundraiser being held at all seven of the Boston area locations in celebration of the 200th store.

The event kicks off four weeks of fundraising in support of Children’s Hospital, as Orange Leaf seeks to raise $25,000 for the Children’s Fund, which supports the hospital’s areas of greatest need.

Orange Leaf Frozen Yogurt is a self-serve, choose-your-own-toppings frozen dessert chain with more than 200 locations from coast to coast.
